CK`s Coffee Shop in Memphis

Hadn't been to a CK's in over 15+ years. (Big E's and mainly Waffle House were my go to spots) Today I had my best day ever at a Ck's,Waffle House, or Big E's!!! Customer service was #1 and the food was awesome!!! (Thank God for the Turkey sausages)Lol. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "I'll be back"

First time eating here and the food was ok I can say it should have been seasoned! Also we ordered dessert, but they never made it!

Breakfast with someone special is ALWAYS great!

Good (but greasy) food! Building needs updating and a good scrub cleaning to enjoy a stay and eat meal.. but do recommend ordering food as a to-go order is usually good any time of the night or day! Memphis specialty! Unfortunately they do not accept call-in to-go orders so you have to go inside the restaurant to place order. Captured a recent menu pic and posted it!

I have been eating at this location for 20+ years, always great service & delicious food!

First time. I ordered the cheeseburger with hashbrowns. It was so good and at a reasonable price you can't beat it. I will definitely be back. It felt like home there

Food was good staff is not to friendly

We enjoyed CK's the place is old but the food was delicious me and my mom had the waffle with bacon and eggs. My dad and brother had the ham and cheese omelette. I taste a bite of my dad omelette OMG it was good I almost order me one lol! This is a good Memphis spot.

Great late night burgers, hash browns, and waffles. Takes me back 20 years ago to when I hung out at the Germantown location and met a lot of my current friends. CKs, the place to make memories with friends, for sure.

The cook is the best! I don't know her name but everyone calls her "Mama"

My,out of town visiting friend from New Jersey and I decided to have breakfast there, (remembering the old days)not much has changed as far as :menu,prices,and friendly courtsey service,a.warm welcomeing admophere hits ya Moment you walk in CKs Door,don't have to ask for water 'They offers it after you seated, instantly I will always Eat at this place,good food!

Very friendly staff, Great Food, and open late! Food cooked fresh for every order, so it took a few minutes to get it. Absolutely going to go regularly!

Steak and eggs platter late night

The food was great. The server was slightly inattentive for it being so empty .had to ask for my coffee refill. And wasn't sure about the supposed 10 percent upcharge on 3red shift but the food was great.

Great food! Reminded me of Grandma....hearty breakfast.

The only good thing about CK's is their steak. The place is filthy at all times. The only thing that gets wiped down is their tables and sometimes seats. You can see the film of grease and dust all over everything. At night, their food is 10% more and they add that as a gratuity. The people who work their are as sweet as can be but, is that really enough?

Absolutely horrible service. Cant even call the place to place a to go order even sitting in the parking lot watching people inside work and goof off with the customers they do allow inside smh

One of the greatest places to get a awesome breakfast and very friendly workers. We always eat there when were in Memphis

The food was excellent, however, the service was terrible. It took 15 minutes to get drinks and another 15 to get a refill. That's the only time drinks were refilled. Again, food was amazing but the service needs work. 1/5.

This spot is a back in the day spot so it will always be a favorite of mine. However the staff has changed. There's a younger crew in there that DON'T quite know the proper way wait on tables. My waitress did not bring me water with my coffee. The coffee wasn't fresh so I asked for a coke (which they no longer serve coke product but Pepsi) the waitress that waited on me did not tell me this but the young lady that brought me my food did.My waitress NEVER smiled OR communicated with me as she served me. Smh it is really hard to find good help!

Best breakfast in Memphis!

My family and I decided to eat here Friday night, however, we ordered but didn’t receive our food. We were told that the managers daughter came up there upset, for whatever reason, and knocked all of the plates and orders off the counter. We saw a young lady come out yelling and crying and then a staff member (manager) came out behind her. The young lady that gave us a refund explained things and she was very nice about it but we could tell it shocked her too, the young lady’s tantrum. I’ve eaten here in the morning/ afternoon and I have always loved this place. I will still eat here, but in the earlier part of the day from now on. Oh, this happened between 1am-2am. We really wanted this food. :(

My earliest memory of this place is when I was about 6. The food was great then as it is now. I'm 40, it's high time for an update. Add wifi, pastries, remodel and lets keep the good times rolling!

Service was not great at all. The waitress was rude and barely spoke. When it came time to pay, she told me they do not accept credit cards, and they also charge you $2.25 to even use a debit card. Also, if you go over $60 on your order total(using a debit card), you have to find a way to come up with the rest. So, if your order is $62.00, you better have at least $2.00 in cash to cover it. I don't expect much...just a small "diner-like" place, but they have to do better. Food was mediocre but it was late and I was hungry, so it was something🤷🏾‍♀️. I implore you to go home and cook or maybe just go home, go to bed, and wake up then make a decent breakfast.

Extremely busy wait time early this morning approximately 5 - 10 minutes, 3 employees working as a team and doing a great job for all their customers. Very nice helpful staff, clean restaurant, great food great prices, open 24 hours on Poplar Ave, breakfast lunch and dinner served 24 hours 7 days a week. Keep up the great work and good customer service.

Great food and great atmosphere.

Very reasonable brekky place to eat. Their grits are my fav cause they cook them thick! the way I like mine. Can listen to music while you eat from juke box as long as you got dollars to spare lol Can feed a family of 5 for about $35! This includes juice or coffee.

Very nice & polite and food was on point

The food tastes okay, the staff are fairly nice and the prices are fair. They definitely get some points for staying open at all hours. There's definitely a bit of a concerning hygiene issue here though, as I've been given dirty cutlery before. I've also been giving a glass that had a large crack in it, so water ended up leaking out all over the table. Still, I haven't seen anything incredibly gross here.Service is also a little bit slow, so don't go here if you have somewhere to be.

Food was good for and prompt service. Bill came to 5.18. I gave her 7 bucks bcuz it was all the cash i had and thr was a 2.15 fee to use my card. I said thank you. She looked at money with attitude and said "uhh huh". Guess she was expecting a 5 dollar tip on a 5 dollar meal. Not sure.

Food is great. Service could be better, good enough. I gave it a 3 due to how you pay them. They have to charge your debit card like an ATM. They take $2.25 fee. So if your ticket is $10.25 you have to take 15 out and get charged $2.25 for $17.25. They can barely make change. So you might have to wait awhile to get change it just leave it as a tip.If you go here you will eat well. Just have cash in hand.
